We know you’re itching for the weekend, but before you whip out your Weizen glasses, retrieve your reading glasses!
Hey there smartxers,
We know you’re itching to start your three-day weekend, but before you whip out your Weizen glasses, retrieve your reading glasses! We have some new releases brewing for next Tuesday.
Creepy crawlers? No thanks. Ads.txt crawlers? Absolutely! We love anything that promotes transparency in the industry.
In this update, we are extending ads.txt support to in-app inventory by adding an app-ads.txt crawler to our current ads.txt crawler. This will be apparent under the Supply tab in the Domain Monitoring section. The Crawling Status in the Domain Monitoring grid will now indicate if an app-ads.txt file is set up correctly and ensure that smartclip is attributed as an authorised reseller. Here, users can filter by the type of entry as well as see details regarding the Bundle ID and the store URL that was used during the check.
We have a full lineup of new Reporting KPIs planned to drop in next week’s release!
Users will be able to report on the combined revenues for our favourite duo, Direct Campaigns and Programmatic Deals, with the new Total Revenue KPIs. This total package combines data for campaigns and deals to simplify reporting. The following will be available next week in the Reporting UI and API:
Not enough KPIs for you? Well, we got anotha’ one! Introducing Supply No Bids, a new KPI that, like the name suggests, allows users to see how many times the EasyBidder did not place a bid during an auction. This will also be available in the Reporting UI and API.
A few years ago, Xandr rebranded its AppNexus DSP, launching Xandr Invest. Now that the majority of the market knows the Xandr brand, we can officially update it on the smartx platform. Starting on June 1, AppNexus will be listed as Xandr – Invest DSP (AppNexus). This will be reflected in the UI as well as reporting with present and past data.
Yours in smartx updates and app-reciating how much our readership loves lame puns,
smartclip Product Marketing Team
