We are delighted to report that our latest smartrover expedition into VAST cyberspace was a success!
After an arduous journey, we emerged from a new galaxy that supports the new Video Ad Serving Template (VAST) protocol sub-versions in outgoing bid requests. This includes the sub-versions of VAST 4 according to the AdCOM standard. So, VAST 4.1 and VAST 4.2, as well as VAST Wrapper 4.1 and VAST Wrapper 4.2, have been added to the outgoing bid requests.
What does this vast amount of VAST mean for DSPs? Including these sub-versions allows DSPs to identify the support of the individual VAST 4.x sub-versions, making it possible to bid on the relevant bid requests.
