Have you met Shira Leffel?
We’re pleased to introduce you to our Executive Director Europe Marketing & Product Education. Shira joined smartclip in 2020 and was tasked with building a central European marketing department and strategy. Since then, the department has grown into an international team of sales marketers, content marketers, product marketers, communication executives, and designers. In this new episode of our Get to Know podcast series, Shira shares details on what it’s like to work at smartclip and on her team.
Shira Leffel is the VP of Marketing & Product Education and is responsible for leading the central European marketing and product education department at smartclip. She has lived and worked in the United States, Canada, Israel, Mozambique, Brazil, and now Germany. Shira comes with extensive experience in marketing for B2B technology startups. She has built out marketing teams and strategies—her core expertise lies in content strategy, most notably inbound content marketing. Shira graduated Summa Cum Laude and First in Class with an M.A. from Tel Aviv University, and First Class Honours with a B.A. from the University of British Columbia.

Harshita is the Marketing Design Manager Europe and has been a working student with smartclip since April 2021. She is responsible for the production of video content for the website, sales marketing collateral, and content distribution channels. Harshita is currently working on her master’s thesis in Integrated Design with a focus on emotional durability of products. Prior to joining smartclip, Harshita gained 4 years of working experience for various Asian brands back in her home country, India, before moving to Europe.
