Four-day executive offsite event in Würzburg

Würzburg, the epicentre of the Franconian wine country and mecca of baroque architecture, was also home to the latest leadership offsite that took place from 5-8 April 2022. Department heads from across European smartclip tech and commercial teams met to reflect on the company’s many achievements and to discuss what the future holds. Considerable thought was put into encouraging continued growth in the areas we have thrived as a company, as well as how to best learn from past challenges. Additionally, the teams collaborated to determine future strategies in light of the upcoming separation from the media sales side of smartclip. The media division will become part of RTL’s new ad sales unit, together with RTL AdConnect and G+J i|MS.

While in the south of Germany, the teams also took the opportunity to explore and spend time with one another after two years of separation due to the pandemic. Co-CEO Thomas Servatius enjoyed taking everyone on a trip down memory lane as he showed them around the city of his university days. The group also embarked on a wine cellar tour at Juliusspital and were treated to a taste of the local flavours at dinner in the old town. The surroundings of the German countryside proved inspiring as attendees walked away with clear goals and next steps. We are excited to see their ideas come to fruition in the upcoming months!
