Views is the number of times visitors view content on a web page. For video ads, the MRC and IAB define a view as when two continuous seconds of the video ad play while at least 50% of the ad’s pixels are in the viewable space of the browser page. For display ads, the criteria are that at least 50% of the ad’s pixels must be in the viewable space of the browser page for greater than or equal to one continuous second.
Views are not the same as impressions – an impression is counted when an ad loads, regardless of whether it was viewed or not.
