A type of sophisticated invalid traffic (SIVT), a geo-mismatch occurs when most of the website’s traffic does not match the geo-location of the website’s origin. This can occur, for example, when a website from Germany with German content receives traffic mostly from Russia. Another issue might be that the campaign delivery does not consider the booked geo-targeting of the client.
