The last product update of 2021 is upon us, so we’d like to take the time to wish you the happiest of holidays and a joyous new year! 

Our gift to you is a gift that keeps on giving (aka it’s a beta feature that hasn’t been fully developed yet).

Beta Competitive Separation 🎁

This week’s release is all about a new Beta Competitive Separation section for Domain Mapping

The new section will be located in the Basic tab of the Adomain Mapping editor under Demand > Advertiser Domains. For now, there will be a Product Categories dropdown menu, along with a new Product Category filter available in the Domain Mapping grid.

Mapping Product Categories will be a key step for utilising Competitive Separation. Once fully supported, users will be able to prevent competitor ads from being served in the same ad break. For example, if an Aston Martin commercial (we’re still not over 007) is present in the ad break, other car manufacturers will be blocked from serving during that slot.
