Let’s dive into our latest platform updates while we still have our pumpkin-spice latte sugar rush!
Bundle up with App Bundle IDs
In the past, we used the reporting dimension SysCus3s to store Bundle ID information. Now, the Bundle ID will be its own dimension within Reporting and be renamed as App Bundle ID. The App Bundle ID dimension contains Bundle ID data from 15 June 2022. Please note that to access Bundle ID data prior to that date, users must query using the SysCus3s dimension. All users who previously had access to the Bundle ID dimension will also have access to the new SysCus3s dimension. All permissions, dashboards, and schedules within Reporting will otherwise remain the same.
To summarise, the main change here is in the renaming of Bundle ID as App Bundle ID, but the functionality remains the same if you are searching for data after 15 June.
The new App Bundle ID dimension has also been added to the Smart Reporting API, requiring an action on the part of Smart API users. Smart API users who previously queried the dimension identifier system_value_3 to obtain the Bundle ID must now query the new dimension identifier app_bundle. Therefore, users impacted should plan to make appropriate adjustments to the API. We will provide the Bundle ID for another month in parallel in the API identifier system_value_3, to provide more time to implement changes to your API’s (if needed).
Fall in love with improved Geo Targeting
We have also made an important change to the Geo Targeting menu, which is found in the Demand section under both Direct Campaigns and Business Rules. Now users can see at a glance which geo targeting level (country, region, or city) has been defined, as a new label will appear next to the green status icon in the Targeting header.
