Our 5 Core Values

We invited our colleagues to share their perspectives regarding smartclip’s company culture and what our core values mean to them.

At smartclip, we are shaping the future of online video and TV advertising. Our mission is to build and provide state-of-the-art technology and services that empower Europe’s top broadcasters and publishers to make the most of their local, premium inventory. 

We would never be able to realise our mission without our people and the strong bonds we have within our teams and clients. Our core values shape our purpose as smartclippers and enable us to challenge the status quo and take calculated risks that not only advance our people and business — but the industry at large. 

At our last company event, Strategy Days, employees spent two days gaining valuable insights into the importance of having a strong company culture. We invited colleagues to share their perspectives regarding the company culture and what our core values mean to them. Here’s what they had to say…

Passion

With passion, we are not afraid to fight even if we are outnumbered by a larger rival. We are a true team with the shared determination to propel our industry forward. We understand that life is more enjoyable when you work with people who are mutually passionate. We love what we do. Our passion is a testimony to our dedication to each other and our clients. 

Chistina Sjut, Manager Supply Management & Cooperations Europe, shares what passion means to her: 

Smart and Self-motivated

We seek to be the best, knowing full well that the best is an endless pursuit. We strive to continuously enhance our expertise, learn from both our successes and failures, embrace change and adapt to new challenges to improve and grow. We actively recognise and pursue the task at hand.

This is what smart and self-motivated means to Florian-David Werner, Senior Manager Inventory Quality Europe:

Sincerity

We maintain an open and transparent environment — paving the way for mutual trust and prosperous collaboration. We encourage honest and respectful dialogue, allowing us to challenge each other and ourselves so that the best ideas can surface. We trust each other to do our work even when nobody’s watching.

Here’s what Daniel Spångvall, Senior Director Operations Nordics, has to say about sincerity: 

Reliable and committed

We understand that concepts are only as good as their implementation. That’s why we start progressive projects and bring them to a successful end. We aim to make a positive impact through our technology, our services, and our people. We set ambitious goals and hold each other accountable for the commitments we make to ourselves, our team, and our clients.

Jan Wodtke, Head of Accounting Europe, explains what being reliable and committed means to him:
