Open Measurement Interface Definition (OMID)

The Open Measurement Interface Definition (OMID) is the API central to the IAB Tech Lab’s Open Measurement Software Development Kit (OM SDK).

The OMID is a new standard that serves as the ‘digital middleman’ in the OM SDK process, making VPAID obsolete for viewability measurement. Developers integrate the OM SDK coding on their sites and apps, and when ads are served, the OM SDK coding sends signals to OMID about how, when, and where that ad has been delivered.
