Bot Detection

Bots perform all sorts of automated tasks on the internet, from web chats to indexing for search engines. But, with their ability to mimic human online activity, bots are also used for fraudulent purposes, including producing fake traffic and impressions, which leads to inaccurate advertising metrics.  Bot detection software differentiates bot-generated traffic and impressions from human-generated traffic and impressions, protecting websites from fraud. Bot traffic, whether good or bad, is always considered to be invalid traffic (IVT).
